The Fee Assistance Program (FAP) is a program from the AAMC that significantly discounts the cost of applying to medical school for those who demonstrate financial need. See below for information on benefits and qualification guidelines.

Apply to the Fee Assistance Program (FAP) to receive the following benefits: 
 

MCAT Benefits

  • Reduced registration fee, from $320 to $130, for MCAT exams until December 31, 2021.
  • The current MCAT Official Prep products benefit is the MCAT Official Prep Online-Only Bundle ($268.80 value), which includes all online MCAT Official Prep products. Regardless of how many times you are awarded fee assistance, you will receive MCAT prep product benefits only once.
  • Up to $800 benefit towards an updated psycho-educational or medical evaluation if it is required to support your MCAT accommodations application. Approval of benefit is subject to review by MCAT Accommodation Services.

Medical School Admission Requirements Benefits

AMCAS Benefit

  • Waiver for all AMCAS fees for one (1) application submission with up to 20 medical school designations ($930 value), submitted by December 31, 2021.
  •  Additional fees will be charged for each medical school designation beyond the initial set of 20.

    Unused medical school designations do not carry over to the next AMCAS application cycle, even if the next application cycle falls before December 31st of the next year after you've been awarded.

Laureano Andrade Vicenty ( Professor )

Laureano Andrade Vicenty graduated from Rockland Community College with an associates degree in math and science. In 2016, he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelors degree in biochemistry from Stony Brook University. Laureano is a medical student at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. Laureano scored in the 97th percentile on the new 2016 MCAT, and serves as the main lecturer for The MCAT Disciples.
